If only I didn't have to travel 3 hours, I would be there every weekend. Love the external setting of OutPost. Food was amazingand the staff are very attentive and friendly no matter how busy it got.
Beautiful little side of the road Eatery. Family owned and operated. Delicious burgers, awesome fries wonderful frickels (fried pickles) and nice selection of draft beer including local offerings. They have a nice outdoor seating area which can be a blast when weather is good. Highly recommend and will most likely drop by again in the future. Cheers!
Everything is good, the only things for my is a Little sweet the lemonade of strawberry the burgers is so perfect
Had the Ribeye and Fry Me and it was delicious. Both steak and fries were seasoned well.
This place rocked! Stopped here on our way to the Burn Brae Mansion to meet up with a bunch of friends who were staying the night with us at the haunted B&B. The Outpost went out of their way to accommodate all of us, even though a bunch arrived at different times (a couple about 15 minutes after us, and more about 25 minutes after we arrived). The food was great (especially the fries), the prices were good, and the service was amazing. It was a Sat afternoon, and they had a band playing. A few of us played corn hole while having a few drinks at the outside bar after we finished eating, since check-in at the B&B wasn't until 4pm. Just a very nice experience at a quaint restaurant/bar you'd expect to find in Texas. Just be aware, you won't have cellphone service there. There was a spot inside near the bar where our service worked somewhat but for only about 3 to 5 minutes, so make sure you don't need to make any calls. Only about 10 minutes from the Hawks Nest Lookout off scenic Rt 97. If you're going to be passing through the Pond Eddy, Port Jetvis area in NY, you should make the stop for a bite to eat at this cool little place! We'll be back.
I loved that Jess’ Jam burger! It’s a bacon blu burger with strawberry jam. Oh yeah! It was great. My wife ordered the Ruben sandwich which was not as great. But that might be because we let it get cold while enjoying our beers and listening to country music too much. My daughter likes her grilled cheese. By the non-spicy French fried were too spicy for her. I’ve passed this place a few times. So glad we stopped by this time. PS-It was Mother’s Day at 1pm that we were here. It was busy. But we had no wait. Very friendly place.
